The Martinez Heat closed out their 50/70 division season at home today with a strong win over the Pinole Hercules Phillies—a rematch of a previous Heat victory. After falling behind 2-0 in the top of the 2nd, the Heat responded with 8 unanswered runs to take control.

With clutch pitching from Jeremiah, Aran, and Leo, and solid defense behind them, the Heat held the Phillies to just one more run in the 7th. Final score: 8-3. The team finishes their 50/70 season with an impressive 8-3 record.

Next up, the Heat will prepare for their first travel ball tournament of the year in Manteca/Ripon, scheduled for May 31–June 1.
